Voter Brigade

As I write this, we are 100 days out from the midterms and the fight for the control of congress. A big focus for Indivisible and BCI is working to GET OUT THE VOTE. We will be taking actions to convince those who may be considering sitting out the vote this November to participate in our Democracy. At this time we're still working out details, but one action will involve what we're calling the "Sidewalk Brigade", which will involve groups of us lining up along busy local road ways with signs promoting voting and related topics and issues. Lynda Robison is organizer for this effort. We will be discussing ideas for signs at the meeting Tuesday, as well as looking for folks who are interested in participating. Some of you are likely familiar with the weekly CCU Pop-Up protests that Bob Hyatt organizes. Ours will be a very similar project for BCI.
